CHROME EXTENSIONS

SEO tools I built for sitemaps, hreflang and browser checks

I built these extensions to solve small jobs that kept coming up in my own SEO work. They check sitemaps, make hreflang easier to inspect and keep useful bookmarklets in one place.

Sitemap Validator Pro

A Chrome extension that checks XML sitemaps and flags problems with their URLs.

Why I built it

I built it because reviewing a large sitemap by hand is slow and it is easy to miss a broken or malformed entry.

What it does

  • Checks the XML sitemap structure
  • Tests listed URLs for common problems
  • Makes the same check easy to run again

Hreflang Genius

A browser tool for checking hreflang on international and multilingual websites.

Why I built it

Hreflang is awkward to review in source code, especially when a return tag is missing or one URL uses the wrong language or country code.

What it does

  • Shows the hreflang tags on a page
  • Checks language and region codes
  • Helps find missing return tags

Bookmarklet Manager

A simple place to organize and run the bookmarklets used during SEO reviews.

Why I built it

I had useful audit shortcuts scattered across browser bookmarks and documents. This extension keeps them together.

What it does

  • Organizes frequently used bookmarklets
  • Runs audit shortcuts from one place
  • Keeps browser checks close at hand

Before you install anything

Use the Chrome Web Store links on this page. Google shows the current permissions, privacy information, version and reviews before you install.

Permissions can change when an extension is updated. Check the store listing for the version you are about to install.
